Streaks

Last updated: March 5, 2026

Streaks track how many consecutive update periods you've sent without missing one.

How Streaks Work

Your streak counter increments each time you send an update within its scheduled period. If you miss a period, your streak resets to zero.

  • Current streak — Displayed on your dashboard. This is the number of consecutive periods you've sent an update.
  • Best streak — Your all-time longest streak, shown when your current streak is less than your best.

Why Streaks Matter

Regular investor communication builds trust and keeps your investors engaged. Streaks are a lightweight gamification layer — they reward consistency without adding pressure.

Investors notice when founders go quiet. Even a short update is better than no update.

Tough Month Mode

Having a bad month? Don't break your streak. Click Tough Month from the dashboard to enter a streamlined wizard:

  1. Enter just your key metrics.
  2. The AI writes a brief, honest summary focused on the numbers.
  3. Send it to your investors.

Tough Month updates count toward your streak. The goal is to keep the habit alive, even when things are hard.

Streak Calculation

Streaks are calculated based on your company's update schedule:

  • Monthly — One update per calendar month.
  • Biweekly — One update per two-week period.
  • Weekly — One update per week.
  • Quarterly — One update per quarter.

As long as you send at least one update within each scheduled period, your streak continues.
